Low-Fat Fruit Crisp
1/2 cup of your favorite fruit
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 tablespoons oil
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons of your favorite nut
Mix all ingredients except fruit together in a small cup. Place fruit in a baking dish or microwave-safe bowl. Sprinkle on topping.
Baking method:
Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or less depending on the type of fruit. If you use apples it will take longer, berries or other soft fruits will take less. You will know its done when it smells good and the fruit is tender.
Microwave method:
Microwave in 1 minute bursts and keep doing this until the juices are flowing and fruit is tender (about 2 1/2 minutes).
